Bloggerrhea

I know I've talked about this before, but what is your blog about? Would it fit into a defined category? The kind they want you to use for those search engine thingies? If you are new to this blog, what would you say it's about? If you figure it out, please share. I'd love to know.

Here's what I've figure out: There are some incredibly gifted writers out there; able to convey concepts, ideas, visions, insight, humor and wisdom within some beautifully painted word pictures. Once in a great while, I can get within the ballpark of that realm, but mostly not. The words just travel out of my mind, down my arms, through my fingertips and into the blogosphere. I always have an idea what I'm going to write about, but the end result is sometimes completely different than what I had conceptualized. This is why I usually have 5 or 6 google docs in various stages on completion. Admittedly, I write a pretty high ratio of ridiculous crap, but there's something very liberating about writing this blog. My reader profile is undefined. I'm not writing to entertain or persuade any particular group of people. I just write. I try to be responsible and mostly unoffensive, but, like my friend Stacy from Louisville likes to say, "I have standards, I just forgot where I put them."

While lately it seems that some of my fellow bloggers have reduced the number of posts they write in a week, I seem to have increased the number I write. It's not like I'm racking my brain to figure out what to write about. Stuff just seems to be presenting itself to write. While some might be said to be suffering from blogstipation, I have the opposite affliction: bloggerrhea. Will it last? I don't know. But I'm not going to fight it. I'm just going to write. Sorry/You're welcome.

Tomorrow's post: Katdish goes grocery shopping!

Well I used to write a similar blog to yours. Just word vomit about the craziness in life and the even crazier things that came pouring out of my head. But them I stopped. Then I had my ranting blog. It started out that I was ranting about adoption and the horrible ethics in it and how the adoption agency we used sucked and how pregnant moms were treated. But with this election cycle it turned into a horror show of how much I was fearful for the state of the country and an indictment of the education system. But since my husband is in the navy a constant criticism of the work of the president probably wouldn't go over well.

Now my blog is more about crunchy living, cooking, gardening, and kinda a place for me to concentrate on the more gentle side of myself.

Your blog is best described as hysterical word vomit. I love it :)

BTW the verification word is "sackwall" which is odd

Blogstipation?! Bloggerrhea?!

That's exactly why I love your blog...no one but you...

I was wondering what that smell was...

Your bloggerrhea suits you perfectly.

Sometimes, it's like you've taken an Ex-Lax as you EXPLODE in bloggy humor!

We'll be sure to keep you stocked in TP!

I'd have to go undercover to write what I really think about my life. So, I just live vicariously through others blogs. Such as yours. Oh, no, thank YOU.

Keep up the bloggerrhea. Got any blogaxative you can send my way?

(I like to assume that I'm one of those 'incredibly gifted writers' of which you speak. You know, because only the very gifted are at the mercy of their muse...)

WV: pacans
How they pronounce 'pecans' in Canada. "So, Hoser, ya really like pacans, eh?" "Oh yah, sure. Pacans is my favorite ingredient in them pray-lines."

I just thought someone gave you a blogenema. We love you just the way you are (mostly because we don't have the guts to say that stuff ourselves). I wish I had your creativity, then I wouldn't suffer from that dreaded blogstipation.

Your is absolutely one of my favorite blogs to read, just because I have no idea what I'll get when I come here. All I know is that it'll be good. Very good. That's the beauty.

I WISH I had bloggerrhea.

I like not knowing what to expect when I come here. Much of my life is very predictable. I love blogs that aren't.
I don't worry much about too few, or too many posts. If I have no thoughts to start a conversation, I can always check out a friend's (think magnificent 8) blog and join a conversation there. Sometimes I even find myself inspired to do a post from it. Sometimes I just have fun.
I feel pretty laid back about the blog right now. I feel like I am at a party, and that it is cool if I bring a topic up myself, or just join in conversations already going on.

Whatever your disease, keep up the insanity! I appreciate that you're a passionate person who is funny but also really cares about people and loving God. You are a well-rounded crazy. ;)

And since I know my opinion is the only one that matters to you, you should be set now to write for another hundred years...

My blog started with the intention of being a deep conversation starter. However it falls terribly and depressingly short of that goal. It seems to me that the more serious a post, the fewer the comments. That saddens me because I really enjoy a good discussion and/or debate. *sigh* oh well. You keep up what you're doing, and I'll try to do the same.

you think you have bloggerrhea? I must have explosive bloggerrhea then. Of course today I haven't written my post yet but I have 3 ready to go once I get the time to write. Youth Sunday Night threw my week off already but hopefully it will be settled down soon.

Ah, yes...

WWJD = What would Jason Do?

That's all thar really matters...

P.S. - If Monday is my scheduled day, I'm going to have to ask you to break you blog rule and read tomorrow's post. It will be delightful, I'm sure...

And another thing - Not that the guy needs any shout outs from me, but if any of y'all haven't read Billy Coffey's last blog post, you are truly missing out. It's amazing! That's all I'm going to say, cuz me thinks I'm starting to sound a wee bit stalkerish.

I'm thinking that in the time you write 4 posts, I've written exactly .07 posts. Is there an opposite of ADD where you stayed fixed on one topic for too long? Because I might have that.

And I always get a little bit happier when there's a new HLAC post! You do realize if not for your outgoing bloggy ways, most of us more introverted bloggers would not have ever "met," don't you? You are the Kevin Bacon of blogdom.

And because of your blog, I'm now thinking of the bacon bit (HA!) by Jim Gaffigan.

Hi I am new here so I don't really have any thoughts YET!!!

You seem cool though!

Nice to meet you!!!

Hey, Beth..."the Kevin Bacon of blogdom". I like it! Also, mmmmm....bacon! And what Nick said.

Hi Michelle! I've seen you over on Smurfette's blog! Welcome to the dark side! (mwha ha ha!) Please don't be offended when I tease Sherri mercilessly. I'm mostly only kidding.

I think I'd kill to get bloggerrhea! What have you been eating, my friend? I would imagine that good ol' southern cooking does that, but I'm not sure!!!
